Angela Akins Gracia, a young lady who was passionate in sports, chose to play golf. She attended several golf classes to learn how to make a powerful yet relaxed swing. Her skills improved as she grew older and won more than eight championships as a student in high school. Garcia was captain of Mable Falls' high school team, and took them to 3rd place in the regional competition in 2003. They then came 6th in 2006 and were the sixth-place team. There is no question that Garcia is an extremely talented golfer. She has over 17 medals in her collection at the national level. Furthermore she is an eminent member of the Women's Texas Golf Association. Garcia went to Texas Christain University to study during a period of time after her graduation from high school. Then she transferred to University of Texas. At the University, she had the opportunity to compete on a greater level and she honed her skills as time went by. Angela Akin Garcia was a fantastic golfer but had no idea of pursuing a career in golf. Her choice was to study journalism instead. When she finished her degree in journalism, she was hired in Fox Sports Southwest as a journalist.
