Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. He shot to fame after his role as a character in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been on 20 features, such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 shows on television like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since the age of 14 old. Two years after treatment, his cancer is in remission. Being treated at such a young age had an adverse effect on his body. It hampered his development. Because he was a child of poor circumstances, he was determined to be financially secure. He said in an interview that he said that if I don't have money security or feel out of control in the world, then I'm going to be miserable. He also looks back at his childhood and hopes to address the problem of the bullying. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. Both in real life and on screen, DJ would love to play the role of a father. The director doesn't choose him for these roles but he says. He would like to be a father himself in the future, when he could be able to devote much less time and energy to his profession and more time with his children.
